Trying a new Rating *cringes*

Ok for those of you that know me I write Adult. Period. It is really just were I fit in. I like to write not only the sexual situations, but the language, violence and sometimes even gore.

I *takes a deep breath* am trying to write a Mature rated piece. Yes No erotica. No intense violence.

::)Ok I know what’s the big deal right? But it’s like someone saying sit down at the computer and write a three thousand word essay on why you like your fav actor and not being able to use the words sexy, charming, funny, witty, talented, hot, gorgeous or admire. *blinks* Know what I mean?

I started up the general rated Drama Robin, I am going to try and force myself to write in it. They are great fun and I will have to follow lead, which will help keep my verbiage per say in line. *nods*

I read somewhere that you are supposed to tell what you SEE and I agree. And I see all the violence and smut. ;D But I am going to do this. It may very well be a piece of dookie, but I WILL do it. *nods firmly before running off to try again*

So hey,

I am where you are with one of my innocent PG13 love stories. Most of those have been short but one I have started to make longer and it's been difficult. I'm starting to worry I'm too old and jaded to write this kind of thing.
But I hope not.

But I've been very stuck on it. So I'm certainly willing to discuss this topic and ideas with you.

I've been looking for happy love songs to try to help.

*nods* I'm glad you understand. It is really hard. Because when I write I see the story unfolding in my head and it's all so clear and then to EDIT it and take out the stuff that makes it Adult it ....well it changes it.


For exampole the story I am trying as a Mature piece rather than an adult piece, The Harder They Fall, The opening scen was Scott doing very naughty things to this woman who he had no clue who she was. Talking dirty and carriying on then he up and leaves. Now while you ge tthe feeling he's an asshole form what I DID write, the impact of it is totally different.

In "my head" you'd see him as a bonified prick, hands down. SO the is forcing me to really hone in on my characters and show them via a different means. It's really not easy.

Like wise showing a sexual attraction without being rather explicit, I know it can be done, I just need to learn how.

*sighs* I want to be a better writer, so I shall fight the battle. I give props to you for writting a General (PG-13) I just *shakes head* There's no way. *laughs*

You are NERVER too old to do anything by the way. NEVER. Your heart is young and beautiful, that's all that matters. And as long as you can imagine rolling around in a bed of roses with Orlando or Viggo or whom ever else you fancy....then you are as young as you wish. *nods*

We shall band together and fight this creative road block together! *chuckles*
