One of the things I am not really that comfortable with anymore is the title of my story "Beloved Target"
There is a lot that needs to be fixed with it anyone, but the title really bothers me ... I don't even know anymore why I choose it, but I don't feel it is that fitting.
Maybe I am wrong, but it sounds too fluffy ... still I got no idea as to a better title - any tipps, comments or suggestions?

I think you should NEVER title a story with the same title that's in the movie. Movie: Hard Target. Your story: Beloved Target. *shakes head* It's a bit tacky. The only stories that could get away with things like that is if you're writing about an Epic trilogy such as Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and the Chronicles or Narnia. *nods* A helpful way would be taking the main focus of the story as well as the characters (and their personalities) and write them down like a summary of some sorts. Keep editing and revising it down until you get to at least one or two sentences. Then, from the little you have left, pick out your title! Using dictionaries and thesaurus's are great! Remember www.m-w.com is your friend *chuckles* Substituting some of the words for others is extremely helpful. *nods*
